CBETA漢文大藏經之資料取自「CBETA電子佛典集成」，內容整合了《大正藏》、《卍續藏》及《嘉興藏》等13套歷代大藏經，不重覆輸入計有近四千部佛教典籍。除此之外，還包括《藏外佛教文獻》、《正史佛教類編》、《北朝佛教石刻拓片百品》等近代新編佛教專書，合計約一億八千萬字，堪稱是最龐大最完整的「漢文電子佛典資料庫」。
