Moldova.org este un portal independent (neguvernamental și apolitic), creat în 1997, una dintre cele mai populare pagini web cu informații și știri din și despre Republica Moldova.

În cadrul concursului național WebTop, ediția din 2005, Moldova.org a fost votată drept cea mai populară pagină web în Republica Moldova, ocupând, totodată, și locul trei în categoria mass media. În 2006 și 2007 portalului nostru i-a fost acordat Premiul de gradul II la categoria „Moldova virtuală”

Portalul Moldova.org a fost lansat în februarie 1997 de către Vlad Spânu (pe atunci diplomat la ambasada RM din Washington) și Sergey Chapkey (pe atunci președintele ONG-ului din SUA Rule of Law Foundation), servind drept portal de țară și pagină oficială a Ambasadei Republicii Moldova la Washington.

De-a lungul anilor, Moldova.org şi-a căpătat imaginea unei pagini web interesante și obiective, fiind una dintre principalele surse de informare privind evoluțiile politice, economice și sociale ale Republicii Moldova pentru mulți utilizatori de Internet din lume.

Datele statistice arată că utilizatorii portalului reprezintă organizații internaționale, ONG-uri și instituții de cercetare, organe guvernamentale, intreprinderi private şi persoane individuale din circa 50 de țări.

La moment site-ul este administrat de către Asociația Sud-Est Junior și Independent News Grup SRL.Moldova.org portal is an independent (non-governmental and apolitical), created in 1997, one of the most popular websites with news and information from and about Moldova.

In the national contest WebTop, edition 2005 Moldova.org was voted most popular website in the Republic of Moldova, occupying the same time a third place in the media category. In 2006 and 2007 our portal was awarded Grade II category "Virtual Moldova"

Moldova.org portal was launched in February 1997 by Vlad Spanu (then diplomat at the embassy in Washington RM) and Sergey Chapkey (then president of the NGO US Rule of Law Foundation), serving as a gateway for the country and the official page the Moldovan Embassy in Washington.

Over the years, Moldova.org has acquired the image of an interesting web pages and objectives as one of the main sources of information regarding political, economic and social rights of the Republic of Moldova for many Internet users in the world.

Statistics show that the portal's users are international organizations, NGOs and research institutions, government bodies, private companies and individuals from about 50 countries.

At the moment the site is managed by the Association of Southeast Junior and Independent News Grup SRL.
