《剪燈新話》，明代文言短篇小說，中國十大禁書之一，作者是瞿佑。最早在洪武十一年編訂成帙，以抄本流行。
元末明初的社會大動盪，摧殘、扭曲著社會中、下層男女的情慾生活。此書為中國歷史上第一部禁毀小說，除摹書普羅男女的畸變離奇隱秘外，其人鬼相戀，“交合之事，一如人間”，亦成為遭禁主要原因之一。作者自己都坦陳此書“近於誨淫，藏之書笥，不欲傅出”。
