コヴィアのSIMフリースマートフォン「CP-F03a」はデュアルSIMスロットを搭載 しており、どちらのスロットも3G(W-CDMA) に対応しています。しかし同時に3G の待受ができるわけではなく、あくまでも同時に稼動できるのはどちらか片方で す。これをプルダウンメ ニューから引き出すSIM選択アイコンによりワンタッチ で切換えすることができます。これにより無料通話分がある大手キャリアのガラ ケー用の SIMと、MVNOの格安SIMを組み合せて、コストパフォーマンスの最適化 を計ったり、会社支給のケータイSIMと、個人持ちのSIMを切 り換えながら公私 分計の運用を行うことなどもできます。

これは便利な機能なのですが、手動で切換えしながらの運用になるために、切換 え操作が煩雑である(切換えにも時間がかかる)ことや、切換えを 忘れてしまい がちなことが課題でした。これに対しSIMスケジューラーは下記の3つの動作モー ドを備え、SIMの切換えの自動化を行い、3G 同時待受に近い使用感を、皆様ご自 身の設定の工夫によって達成するためのツールです。


1. マニュアル設定　
手動で切り換えます。
2. オート
予めどちらを優先SIMにするかを決めて、それを基準に、巡回周期と滞在時間を 設定し、非優先SIMへの切換えと自動復帰を行います。
3. スケジュール
週中のSIM1/SIM2を使う時間を細かく設定することができます。


３つの動作モードは同時には動作しません。例えばスケジュール運用している際 に、マニュアル設定でSIMを切り換えた場合、再度スケジュール 運用を再開する までは、その設定されたSIMに留まります。
