X-Tactics （クロスタクティクス）の世界は私たちの住む世界とは同じようで異なる平和な世界。この世界では、各国政府の特務機関や、特殊な能力を持った者たちが集まる秘密結社によって、とある秘密が隠され、守られている。

スナイパー、アイドル、宇宙人、ニンジャ、パンダ etc… 個性的なキャラクター(エージェント)達が集まる秘密組織『X12』のボスとなり、様々な事件に巻き込まれていく。

現実の天候が雨ならば、ゲーム内でも雨が降り、キャラクターによっては雨によりステータスなどに影響を及ぼす。現実の情報から影響を受けることで、日々ゲームの攻略法が変化する。
