About AndSafe Android App
AndSafe is the replacement for the suspended app AndroidSafe due to branding concerns from Google.
Encrypt and store text notes safely. The app doesn't has network capability and your data is stored securely on your device only.
Well-known encryption and key derivation algorithm used:
- AES-256 in CBC mode for encryption
- scrypt used to derive individual encryption key for each note
Include Export and Import functions for you to move notes to other devices. Exported files are in plaintext xml so you can examine the validity of the claimed encryption algorithm. See the FAQ in app for details.
