This is a free application for teaching animals to toddlers. Currently there are three groups of animals; Farm animals, Forest animals and Flying animals. All animals have pictures and their real sounds.

Not only does the loss of children’s outdoor play and contact with the natural world negatively impact the growth and development of the whole child and their acquisition of knowledge, it also sets the stage for a continuing loss of the natural environment. The alternative to future generations who value nature is the continued exploitation and destruction of nature. Research is clearly substantiating that an affinity to and love of nature, along with a positive environmental ethic, grow out of children’s regular contact with and play in the natural world [Randy White, © 2004 White Hutchinson Leisure & Learning Group]. This application does not intent to replace real animal experience or nature. We believe it can be a good start to teach toddlers about animals before having a regular contact.

This is a great source to teach your kids animals and although especially designed for tablets you can use it with your mobiles.
