Bats are oriented by echolocation. In this way they send periodically a high-pitched tone and orient themselves according to the reflected sound waves, like a radar.
With this free app for Android you can simulate a tone in ultrasonic range and fault the locating. Prank your friends by telling them, you could repel bats with this simulation and take them the fear of the little vampires or just have fun, by fooling them with this joke.
The bat Defence Simulation is both visually and functionally designed extremely realistically. You can choose between different simulated ultrasonic frequencies whose output is sine-shaped which offers more credibility. Because depending on the sense of hearing, not everyone can hear all frequencies, so the active state is also color-coded.
During the execution the anti bat app must be open, but you can turn of the screen for saving battery.
If you like this anti-vampire repellent, please rate it positive in the Google Play Store. However, please note that this is a simulation specifically for entertainment and no real ultrasonic generator for disturbing the bat-radar. It is neither possible to produce such a high-frequency tone with an ordinary smartphone or tablet. And scientifically it isn't proven that in this way the sonar could be really bothered.
