A multimedia journey through the history of Jubilees. The app originated as a tool guiding visitors through the exhibition "Antiquorum Habet", housed in the Senate of the Republic in Rome, in the wonderful setting of the Sala Zuccari in Palazzo Giustiniani on the occasion of the Jubilee of Mercy announced by Pope Francis. The exhibition includes documents and publications relating to the most significant moments of jubilee celebrations, including pilgrims' journeys and the history of the four Papal Basilicas: old and modern manuscripts and printed books, engravings, newspapers and magazines, photographs from Senate book and document collections, plus material borrowed from the Vatican Library, the Museum of the National Mint and Printing Institute, and the Vatican Philatelic and Numismatic Office. 1,400 pictures from over 600 sources are on display, with detailed information and fact-sheets, arranged in a variety of itineraries. The app also gives access to a wealth of documents that, owing to space limitations, could not make it to the physical exhibition.
