About Assalawat - The Prayers Android App

A small effort towards building apps for Islam. "Assalawat" or "The Prayers" is an app that allows users to setup 3 favorite locations and obtain Salat Timing for it.

This app allows for setting up the location and obtaining Salat times for each of the profiles without really having to guess the times. Since a person for most part of the day spends his/her time atleast at two locations, the app provides options to setup profiles for "Home", "Work" and an additional "Fav".

Features:
A1. Alerts when in mosque to silence the phone ( Internet and GPS capable phone required)
1. Three Location based profiles for Salat ( Works across the Globe )
2. Various calculation options such as ISNA, MWL, JAFARI, etc
3. Asr calculation options
4. Refresh with Salat Info and Dua needed everyday
5. Entering an approximate address(even landmarks) automatically populates the GPS coordinates
6. No need to worry about Day Light Savings. App calculates the Salat times in all time zones without any issues.
7. Simple interface with all the information available without doing any additional activity
8. Timely Athan for all profiles
9. Custom controls for Athan by profiles

Requirements:
1. To auto populate the coordinates, internet may be required
2. Atleast an Android Froyo version required
