Audio Wiki is ideal for listening to long articles during your daily commute or workout routine. Once an article has been downloaded, you don't need an Internet connection to listen to it.
Audio Wiki gives you easy access to the vast trove of human knowledge that is Wikipedia, and helps you transform every downtime into a learning experience!
Using it is easy:
- Enter any article title or search phrase
- Press the Load button to download article text
- Browse the article text or press Play to listen
- Press the Links button to browse a list of related articles referenced in the current page
Audio Wiki automatically reads each page of the article aloud for you. You can press Stop at any time, or navigate to any part of the article using the Slider or page buttons
As you navigate using the Links button, it even stores your page history! You can navigate back to previous pages by using the Android Back button.
Notes:
Audio Wiki uses the default Text-to-speech engine installed on your device. You can update Language and Voice preferences in Settings. There are high-quality voices you can download from the Google Play Store.
