Aura Air will help you learn more about WiFi access points, that surround you. You can see how actively used frequency channels. It will be easier to figure out which channel is best for your access point. You will see the safety settings of access points that surround you, and you will see the open hotspots.


Unfortunately, the mobile operating system Android™ does not allow to obtain information about the hidden access points. Therefore, the displayed information is not complete, as it will not be complete in all other applications for this operating system. The only way in the Android™ to see the hidden WiFi access point is to have a connection to it.

WiFi scanner shows WiFi access points, which surround you, by frequency channels.

List of access points is a screen with detailed information about the surrounding access points.

Channel rating allows you to select the best channel for your access point. The rating is based only on the information about open access points.


The necessary permissions are as follows:
• ACCESS_WIFI_STATE - to gather information about WiFi access points.
• CHANGE_WIFI_STATE - to be able to turn on or refresh WiFi connection.
• WAKE_LOCK - some strange devices require this permission for manipulation of WiFi-adapter.


TRANSLATIONS

Aura Air is available in folowing languages:
• English (default)
• Deutsch
• Spanish
• Russian
• Italian

Unfortunately, the author of the project is not a polyglot and does not know all languages. So he has to resort to machine translation, which at the moment has not become perfect. In this regard, please be lenient to quality translation into several languages.

You can help this project by translating it to the other languages, or even just pointing an error in translation.
