If you are just starting to think about career options, or if you have an apprenticeship or traineeship occupation in mind, the App will lead you to specific information that will help you think about the question, ‘Is this something I’d really like to do?’.

The AusAppPathways App will increase your awareness of apprenticeship and traineeship options and it can also be part of the careers discussions you have with others.

You’ll also see some key Australian Apprenticeship contact points in your state or territory.

- Searches - based on 3,000 examples of Australian Apprenticeship occupations that include a brief job description and a summary of the related nationally recognised training.
- ‘Browse by Industry’ – based on your interests select from broad industry groups to get to specific occupation descriptions.
- ‘Keyword’ search - search directly for a specific apprenticeship or traineeship occupation description.
- Location relevant – select your state or territory.
- Additional filter options - Australian School-based Apprenticeships or ‘Trades’ occupation descriptions.
- Favourites - save or share specific occupation descriptions.

The AusAppPathways App is part of the Australian Apprenticeships and Traineeships Information Service. This Australian government funded initiative aims to increase awareness of the broad range of potential Australian Apprenticeships occupations and career choices.

Australian Apprenticeships information and resources are provided for the public, schools and service provider organisations such as Apprenticeship network providers.

Note that the occupation descriptions in this App are not live job vacancies.
