This application turns your wifi off at a configured strength (i.e. when the signal gets below 30%, this is configurable) and it will check every x minutes (also configurable) if the signal is above the configured minimal strength.


When you are at home or at work and you are connected to the Wifi there, when you walk out of range you want your Android device to switch to mobile data. With a lot of Android devices, the signal from the Wifi accespoint to your device is stronger then the signal from your device to your Wifi accesspoint. Your device is still connected to the Wifi accesspoint, but data transfer is impossible. Your device takes too long before it detects that datatransfer isn't possible. With this tool you can configure at what percentage of Wifi signal the Wifi must be turned off. If the signal drops below the configured strength, this tool shuts down your Wifi on your Android device. You can also configure after how much time it must retry connecting to the Wifi to check if it is "strong" enough again. Just give it a try... with this tool you are never too long without a data connection.
