About Ayyappan Android App
Ayyappan-also called Sastavu and Manikandan-is the son of Hari-hara, born of both, Shiva and Vishnu. Mahishasura, the demon who convinced Brahma to give her immunity against any man, but one born of Shiva and Vishnu, was confident that it could not happen, given that a male union cannot produce an offspring. Ayyappan, however, was born when Vishnu took a female avataar to marry Shiva. Being born thus, in a very special way, Iyappan was able to slay Mahishasura. Iyappan is also considered Vishnu and Shiva together in one body because of this. A yogi by nature, Ayyappan is a protector and a marga for removal of kama, krotha, mada, maathsarya, lobha and moha.
Lord Iyyappa is the last and only god belonging to the present Kaliyugam.
