Konya çarşının ortasındadır. Muntazam kesme Gödene taşı ile yapılan mabet son Osmanlı mimarisinin çok başarılı bir eseridir. 1671-1676 yılları arasında Şeyh Ahmed eliyle yaptırılan yerindeki cami yandığı için 1867 yılında Sultan Abdülaziz'in annesi Pertenihal adına yeniden bugünkü cami yaptırılmış ve bu adla anılmıştır (1874). Türk Baroku üslubundadır. Altı mermer sütuna oturan üç kubbesi, son cemaat yerinin iki ucundaki kaideleri, şadırvanı ve iki minaresi ile dikkat çeker. Üzeri ferah kubbe ile örtülüdür.
Aziziye Camii'nin 3 boyutlu olarak modellenmesi ve mobil uygulaması, Konya Büyükşehir Belediyesinin 3 Boyutlu Kent Rehberi Projesi kasamında GEOGIS tarafından hazırlanmıştır.Konya is in the middle of the bazaar.
