About Backlift Cricket Analyser Android App
Cricket coaches and players can use this mobile application to analyse the backlift in cricket. According to the literature, the batting backlift technique is a contributing factor to successful batsmanship in cricket.
The development of the Backlift Cricket Analyser is the first complimentary mobile application that can record and analyse the backlift of batsmen in cricket through a Smartphone without the need for connectivity from parent software on computers or supporting devices. Simultaneously providing ease of access to the player and cricket coaches that analyse the type of backlift and face of the bat in cricket.
In this application, cricket coaches record the batsman as a video in both the frontal (direction of the backlift) and lateral (closed or open face of the bat) views. The application then analyses and tracks the bat position of batsmen. See picture examples.
