About Be Safe Android App
Be Safe provides immediate assistance during emergency or important situations. This app assists people when they travel alone and notifies the guardian/partner/friend if they are lost or caught up in an emergency situation.
The main intention is to create a very simple User Interface so that it can be used by old people ,to those who have less technical knowledge on using mobile phones/Tablet and at the same time to people who want their partner, friend or relatives to be notified during important situations.
Currently the application has two features:
•Emergency: On touching this button, a phone call will be generated to the emergency contact . Simultaneously, an SMS message containing the CURRENT LOCATION of the person will be sent to the emergency contact.
•Where am I?: On touching this button, the location of the current place would be shown to the user and at the same time, the CURRENT LOCATION of the user would be send to Emergency contact in the form of SMS.
