About Beacon Manager Android App
This application scans and shows details about iBeacon and Eddystone (UID, URL, TLM frames). A graph can show the last RSSI values. In addition, Beacon Manager application can save information with corresponded GPS coordinates and comments.
Beacon can be calibrated in application (TX value can be update, but it is not updated on beacon itself). Beacon data can be saved and imported via CSV file for future use.
The following information displays in Beacon Manager application:
- The type of beacon (iBeacon or Eddystone)
- UUID, Major & Minor for iBeacons
- URL, UID and TLM frames for Eddystone.
- Manufacturer or manufacturer code
- The RSSI and TX values
- The approximation of the distance with the beacon.
Note. It based on the current RSSI and TX values and it is NOT 100% accurate)
- Proximity value (immediate, near, far)
- Namespace ID & Instance ID for Eddystone-UID beacons
- Clickable URL for Eddystone-URL beacons
- TLM data sent with the Eddystone beacons (if it exist)
- The last time the beacon has been seen
- Bluetooth information like MAC address and more
Note: Bluetooth 4.0-compatible devices with Android 4.3+ are required.
