Bhabhi is the hit card game from India played by millions of people worldwide. This game is also known as Getaway. Getaway is played in the Punjab region of India and Pakistan and also in Bangladesh. The aim of the game is to "get away" by playing all of one's cards. The last remaining player who fails to get away and is left holding cards is the loser. Bhabhi, which in Hindi means "brother's wife". This name, which is applied to the loser of the game as a mocking insult, is extremely offensive in the context of Punjabi culture. It belongs to a tradition, sadly not yet extinct, in which women were regarded as property and treated with disrespect and cruelty. Play in games up to 6 players. Their built-in artificial intelligence means they'll use the same strategies as the best Bhabhi players. They won't hesitate to give you a thoku if you play the wrong card at the wrong time! Challenge your Bhabhi skills and see if you can outsmart the computer, who will use AI strategies to beat you with Thoku. The game is easy to learn, and takes skill to master and comes with complete set of rules. Game Rules: 1. The cards are shuffled and dealt out as equally as possible to the players - some players may have one more card than others. 2. The players each pick up their cards and look at them, without showing them to any other player. 3. Play begins with the player who has the Ace of Spades who must throw that card to open pile (done automatically). 4. Play then continues clockwise with each player throwing a card of the same suit to open pile. 5. Once everyone has thrown their card the round is complete and all played cards are placed aside. 6. The next round starts with the player who threw the highest card in the previous round (Aces are the highest cards and twos are the lowest). This player can throw any card from their hand. 7. If a player doesn't have any cards of the current suit of open pile then they are free to throw any other card from their hand. This card is called a thoku and results in the round ending immediately. Whoever threw the largest card of the current suit in open pile must pick up all cards that had been played in that round and this player then starts the next round. IMPORTANT: You cannot lie! TIP: You can get rid of your high cards here for strategy! 8. Once a player get rid of all their cards, he stop playing and he is not bhabhi. 9. Play continues until there is only one player with cards. That player is the Bhabhi. 10. If a player doesn't have any Spades in the first round then they're free to throw any card. The thoku is waived, so the starting player doesn't have to pick up the cards. 11. To sort your cards automatically, you can touch your image icon (Me) anytime.
