About Bible Society Sinhala Bible Android App

The Holy Bible NRSV 3rd edition is now available in Sinhala language for those who are interested in introducing the Bible on their Android devices. This application is developed by the Ceylon Bible Society, the sole distributor, publisher & the owner of the text of the Sinhala Bible. It is our intention to provide easy access to the Holy Bible in order to help the user to read and contemplate on it.

The Holy Bible has been included into the Play store as Android applications by various people without the knowledge of the Ceylon Bible Society and without obtaining prior permission. If there are any faults, distortion, omission or short coming in the Bible text published by others, the Ceylon Bible Society will not be responsible.

The Ceylon Bible Society will be responsible only for the text of the New Revised Sinhala Version Third Edition Bible, printed in 2006. It is a punishable offence to extract any portion of the application for commercial use without obtaining a written permission from the Ceylon Bible Society or misusing the above Bible Application.
