- New library (Frölunda pop-up) has been added.
- Frölunda bibliotek will be closed for renovations on September 25th. Therefore, the library has been removed from the scrollbar on the home page.
- New notification/info function has been added due to the implementation of a new logistics system in January.
This release also includes some minor bug fixes.
About Biblioteket Android App
In "Biblioteket", you can search, find and place holds on the media in the public libraries in Gothenburg.
In "Biblioteket", you can:
- Find and place holds on books and other media.
- Keep track of your holds and checked out items.
- Renew your checked out items.
- Check the opening hours of the public libraries in Gothenburg.
- Check the public library events.
- Take a guided digital tour at the City Library.
- Check out and download e-books/audiobooks and talking books.
- Chat with the library.
- Take a quiz.
- Get book recommendations.
- Find out where the book bus is located and get notified when the book bus arrives at your particular bus stop.

To maximize the use of the app, you have to be a registered patron. If you are not a patron, please visit one of our libraries and bring your ID.
