The official app for Big Change 2013
More than 5 billion people have no reliable access to even cheap treatments for the conditions most likely kill or disable them – the personal, social and economic consequences are immense. Incremental changes to current systems will not suffice. The world needs a radically different healthcare system and it needs it soon. The Big Change meeting will consider how to make this a reality.
The challenge of providing affordable healthcare to all who need it is the focus of Big Change - a major event being hosted by The George Institute for Global Health and the Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Saïd Business School. This two-day meeting will involve a selected group of high-profile politicians, academics, entrepreneurs, investors and journalists in an interactive program of challenge and debate.
Big Change 2013 takes place on Friday 22 November and Saturday 23 November at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
