You can quickly report side effects to drugs to Lareb with the free Bijwerking app. With the app it is also possible to look at all side effects reported to Lareb. You can also create your own drug watch list and receive the latest news about side effects.
The reporting of side effects is important for a good monitoring of the safety of drugs. By collecting, registering and analysing reports of side effects, new knowledge is generated. A large part of identified safety issues with drugs and the action taken to minimize these are the result of reports of side effects of drugs from health care professionals and the general public.
