About Bike Cadence Android App
Which chainring and cassette is optimal for your bike and riding style. Use this cadence calculator to find the best combination.
If you are targeting a specific speed. Use this app to find the gear combination that gets you closest to your preferred cadence.
The app has a metronome that is great for targeting a specific cadence while riding or running. It has an optional countdown timer, to stop it from beeping after specified number of minutes.
Speed can be displayed as kph or mph.
1. Select your rim and tire size, or enter the wheel circumference. Enter the number of teeth in your chainrings and cassette.
2. Shift gears with the on-screen gear shifters, and get your speed at preferred cadence. Or the cadence at given speed. Edit the number of teeth in your chainrings and cassette to find the combination that gives you the speed you want at hi gears, and the torque you want at low gears.
3. In the spreadsheet tab. Drag the cadence slider to get the speed you will get at all gear combinations. Horizontal is front gear, and vertical is rear gear.
