About Biologija Android App
Biologija je prirodna nauka o životu, karakteristikama živih organizama, njihovom ponašanju i poreklu, razvoju jedinki, a takođe i o njihovoj povezanosti sa životnom sredinom. Ime joj potiče od grčke reči bios što znači život i logos što znači nauka.
Izraz biologija prvi put je upotrebio Karl Fridrih Burdah(1776-1847). Terminu biologija su 1802. god. dati šira definicija i veći značaj od strane Treviranusa i Lamarka. Treviranusova studija, nazvana Biologie (1802-1822) definisala je biologiju kao "nauku o životu". Lamark je u svojoj Hydrogeologie (1802) definisao biologiju kao disciplinu "terestralne fizike koja uključuje "sve što je vezano za živa tela". I Treviranus i Lamark su mislili da su upotrebom novog termina identifikovali novo polje istarživanja, a ne da su samo dali ime starom. Obojica su se protivila preokupiranosti prirodnjaka 18 veka praksom katalogizacije različitih životinja, biljaka i minerala u prirodi.
