Braille is a system of reading and writing for the blind.
It was invented around 1824 by Louis Braille who was born in Coupvray, France in 1809.
Louis Braille became blind as a result of a childhood accident and the system he invented was an adaptation of military night writing which was not a success.
After you have looked at the signs a few times, why not try the quiz and see how much you have learned.
