About Broadway In The Hood Android App
A Source Of Joy Theatricals/ Broadway In The Hood founders Torrey Russell & Preston Coghill set out to make a difference in lives of families across the country. We are truly blessed to have accomplish a lot because of our professionalism, dedication, discipline to arts and our compassion to communities throughout the country. Our main goal and primary focus has been to educate and inspire people as we introduce them to the joy of theater arts. We have accomplished this goal and continue to maintain this focus. We opened for Ms. Whoopi Goldberg in San Jose California and for Dr. Maya Angelou as she received her Lifetime Achievement Award in both Phoenix, AZ and Los Angeles. We were nominated for an NAACP Theatre Award in California. Broadway in the Hood featured performers at the 2010 Golden Globes pre-broadcast event and in 2014 we honored with a Emmy Award nomination for our PBS Documentary "Broadway In The Hood; Open Doors Open Dreams.
