About Brolly - Rain alarm & radar Android App

Brolly alerts you when it’s going to rain on you.

See into the future so you can grab your umbrella or feel safe leaving it behind. Laugh in the face of “chance showers” with an Extra-Dry subscription: push notifications for early warning of inbound downpours (try it out for free).

Brolly analyses the Australian Bureau of Meteorology’s forecasts and rain radars to predict when, where, and how much it will rain. The predictions are constantly updated, down to the minute the shower strikes.

Brolly is all about here and now. There’s no long-term forecast, no “feels like”, no 20% chance of rain; just a crystal ball view into the future of precipitation. The rain alarm you always wanted, with a handy BOM radar viewer just a swipe away.

Upcoming features include:
- Bookmark and monitor other locations so you can time your cycle home or call to have the washing brought in.

Brolly is for Australia only. Radar images are © Bureau of Meteorology.

* FAQ *
* Where does Brolly work?
Brolly only works when you’re within about 200 km of one of the Bureau of Meteorology’s full-time rain radars. There are more than 35 of them across Australia, including in each major city. If you’re outside radar range, Brolly can’t make accurate predictions.

* “Brolly”?
It’s ‘strayan for “umbrella”.
