Nestled within the gently rolling hills and verdant valleys of McHenry County, Illinois, lies a rare and hidden gem- Bunker Hill Farms. A spectacular, private hideaway so perfect tucked away, most locals don’t even know it exists. It originated in 2005 with the purchase of 150 acres, and additional acreage was added expanding the sanctuary to a total of 450 acres. The property has been enhanced with the planting of over 15,000 trees and bushes as the fairways began to mature. The greens are all bent grass and fairways are fine fescue. As you play this truly one-of-a-kind course; designed by golf architect Harry Vignocchi, various wildlife, gardens, wildflowers, prairies, ponds and a lake surround you. Bunker Hill Farms is an 18-hole, par-72 course rated by the Chicago District Golf Association with yardage totaling 6709. This private invite only resort has no memberships, and less than 250 rounds of golf are played each year. Guests can customize visits to accommodate personal and professional desires. This exclusive setting opens itself to invited guests who come to enjoy it, and since 2013 the property has been made available to Chicagoland charities for intimate golf experiences, as well as private mud runs and concerts. Bunker Hill Charities was founded in 2015 to expand the charitable endeavors.
