V8 - new version of Android broke the calendar (because it didn't display the text properly). This has been fixed.
V9 - allows access to the daily house of commons order paper. The app downloads todays papers (if there are any) and then shows the details in an widget as to which papers are available and for the most recent day give the individual papers.V
V10 - uploads the last month
This was written by a member of the UK parliament who was unhappy that the standard widgets did not cope with someone with a very busy calendar. The widget appears in resizeable 1*1, 2*2 and 3*2 formats. Then the house of commons order papers were added.
The 2*2 version is resizable to the total screen size if your phone copes with this.
Tap on a diary entry to edit it (in the standard Android editor)
Tap on the title to go into settings.
Tap on "+++" to add a new diary entry.
It displays a lot more diary entries in one page than the normal 2*3 android calendar display. It aims to use the minimum number of lines for each entry.
The text colour is set by the google calendar text colour that you are linked to. This may need to be set to a colour that works on a transparent background or the background to your phone changed. Times are in black, but all day events are always in blue.
The 1*1 display is not transparent as the font size is really small.
By default it loads data from yesterday as well as the next month. This, however, can be reconfigured to a maximum of 30 days in arrears and a year in advance.
If someone can tell me how to create new diary entries without reminders I would be very pleased to find out and would add this to the widget.
