About Call App “Pointy” Android App
‘pointy’ is VoIP phone application which enable users to make a call using 050 number. Calls between ‘pointy’ users are all free of charge! The calling rate to regular phones is also quite reasonable comparing mobile carriers’ charge. For example calls to the fixed line cost only 8.6 yen every 3 minute and calls to mobile phones is 16.2yen per minute.

■‘pointy’ does not need high-speed communication. We offer high-quality calls even cheap SIM in its own technology! By our unique communication control technology, pointy realized high level of connection ease and stability of call. Please try the high quality Mobile VoIP by all means! ■Cheap usage fee!!
Basic monthly charge is 324yen (tax included). You can call to other pointy use for free and, of course, you can talk to any other phone including mobile and fixed (except for the emergency phones etc.) using your dedicated 050 number. Call charge is also lowest in the mobile app (in May 2013, the company examined).
■Cheap oversea calls!!
To USA (mainland): 3 yen/min (Carrier D 68yen/min)
To Chana: 3 yen/min (Carrier D 114 yen/min)
To Korea: 3 yen/min (Carrier D 114 yen/min)
You can make a cheap oversea call to many other areas as well.
■You can use the answering machine function for free!!
In ‘pointy’ service, answering machine function that can be used free of charge are included.
When you an in the out-of-service area and/or you cannot answer the call in busy, answering machine on the cloud will respond. You do not have to miss listening to the message, because it is displayed on the notification bar of the smartphone.
■050 number (IP telephone number) is assigned, it is an advantage to the person who make a call to you!
※You cannot make an emergency call such as 110 using ‘pointy’ app.
