Call spy is a REAL TIME phone number lookup search for your Android phone! When an UNKNOWN CALLER ID is detected, Call Spy will instantly do a phone number search using Google. Once you install the app, Call Spy just sits and waits until an unknown number calls your phone. There is no need to have the application open or anything! Since this app just does an Internet search your results will vary. (i.e. Personal cell numbers most likely won’t show up.) Also, if you actually go into the app you can run the CallSpy on unknown numbers that are in your call log as well.

You can call it a caller id or reverse phone lookup or whatever you want. I made this for my personal use and have been happy with it, so I decided to put it out there if it can help others. Thanks.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to CDMA limitations Sprint and Verizon customers will need to have WiFi running as well as 3G for Call Spy to function in 100% real time. Otherwise, the search feature will only process once the phone call is no longer in the ringing state. So, you will have a delay in getting the search lookup. It sucks. I know. I wanted users to be able to see the search results and have the chance to gain some information from that search as to if they wanted to answer the call or not. It makes that a moot point if the search is conducted only after the call is over. But, I guess it will still help to satisfy your curiosity in a quick fashion.
