About Camera to Wear Android App
View your recently taken photos on your wearable device.
This app pushes photos taken on your phone or tablet to all connected wearable devices. Supports Android Wear or any other wearable that can show notifications (such as Pebble).
Only works with camera apps that broadcast the com.android.camera.NEW_PICTURE or android.hardware.action.NEW_PICTURE intents when a photo is taken (which is almost all Android camera apps).
Photos are sent as they are taken and appear as stacked notifications on Android Wear. Select a photo in the stack and swipe right to view the photo in full-screen. Swipe right again to select actions to perform with the photo:
- Open on phone - opens the photo on your phone with the default gallery app
- Share on phone - lets you select an app on the phone to share the photo, such as Facebook
Photos are sent to your wearable as minimum priority notifications which means they will appear below other notifications on your Android Wear device.
This app will not appear in the app launcher. It is a background process that is triggered only when a photo is taken.
