Manthous, nama asli Sumanto Sugiantono, adalah tokoh dan penemu musik campursari, ia dilahirkan di Desa Playen, Gunung Kidul, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta pada 10 April 1950 dan meninggal di Jakarta pada tanggal 9 Maret 2012 (usia 62 tahun). Pengalaman di Jakarta bersama B. J. Soepardi, Benyamin Sueb, Idris Sardi, Bing Slamet, Grup Kwartet Jaya, dan lain-lain. Ia kemudian mendirikan Grup Campursari Maju Lancar di Gunung Kidul.

Manthous adalah seorang legenda campursari yang sangat terkenal, karya□karyanya begitu terkenal di seantero nusantara dan bahkan ke mancanegara.
