This is a demo app for Android developers.
This widget is a virtual keyboard that lets you enter Canadian postal codes. The keyboard does not implement any Android APIs that replace it's own virtual keyboard. Instead, it's a popup view that is implemented as a library component that you attach to EditText controls. When the user taps on an EditText to enter data, the virtual keyboard is displayed. Any characters entered in the keyboard are not entered into the EditText until the Save button on the keyboard has been pressed. A textview above the keyboard keys shows the postal code being entered. Logic is applied to the keyboard so that the user can only enter a valid postal code, meaning that the keys alternate between letters and numbers as they are typed in and only valid characters and numbers are displayed on the keybord. There are some minor postal code rules as well that enforce the validation.
The keyboard resizes to the width of the parent view that it is part of. A demo app is included that shows how to implement the keyboard.
