Canalys data shows that the EMEA cybersecurity market grew 10.5% in 2018, driven by a 15% growth in network security, pushed by a refresh cycle and the need to secure hybrid-IT environments. “There is significant change in the market as to the role of the channel. This is driven by changing customer buying behavior with cloud adoption and new subscription and consumption models,” said Canalys Principal Analyst Matthew Ball. “Understanding the speed of this transition is critical, as is the support from vendors and the strategies needed to adapt.”
