About car2wear Android App
You just want the next car in reach without fumbling the phone out of your pocket? Use your Android Wear device to make a car2go reservation with just a few taps on your wrist.
car2wear will automatically highlight the nearest car around and make it easy for you to catch it. Once reserved a useful notification will show you a map guiding you to the car right on your wirst and your phone's lockscreen.
Important note: it is still needed to use the offical car2go app to start the actual rental and unlock the car. (Sadly these features are possible for third-party applications.)
car2wear for Android Wear...
- lets you swipe through the 5 nearest cars around you
- shows you how far each car is away from your location
- shows you the fuel/loading status for each car
- let's you start Google Maps Navigation, to guide you to the car by foot
- let's you reserve a car at car2go for the next 30 minutes
- shows you a notification including some actions to...
- jump directly to your resvered car inside the official car2go app so you can start the rental there
- cancel the reservation
