About Carrio Duo Android App
If you use Carrio on a tablet in your car, you can connect your phone with Carrio to share your contacts, messages and calendar to Carrio while you drive. You can choose the information you share from your phone and after disconnecting, none of your smartphone information is left on Carrio.
The secure connection between the tablet and the phone is created over a WiFi network, which can be created e.g. by activating the tablet's or phone's WiFi hotspot. Before starting to use, the devices must be in the same WiFi network and this network must be set as 'Carrio WiFi' in Duo.
The Carrio Infotainment app must be set to 'Duo' from its settings. After this you can choose the information and features you'd like to share from your phone to the tablet. For security reasons, you must accept the connection between the devices in Carrio.
The connection between the devices is secured, but we strongly recommend also to secure the WiFi network.
