About Charted GPS Coordinates & Maps Android App
Charted is an essential tool for any modern-day adventurer,hiker,outdoorsmen, or anyone else who just wants precise relevant location data quickly and easily. Find where you are easily and with the greatest precision possible using any location enabled device such as a smart-phone or tablet where you may view your exact position and surroundings on a variety of beautiful and detailed vector-based maps.
Want to share your adventures with friends, family, and social media? Charted will help you do so with a variety of apps on your device. Use the Share Location feature to easily send a string of Coordinates directly to them.
The application features a gorgeous, clean, and intuitive interface along with beautiful imagery and maps with the option to upgrade for additional maps and functionality as needed. We are happy to add that our users will not experience any advertising within the current free and upgraded versions of Charted as well.
Some of Charted's current premium features include the addition of four extra beautiful maps and the ability to export your My Places Database into a clean standard comma separated file (.csv) with included meta-data for each location such as latitude and longitude along with the location's name, date, and time recorded.
As Charted is rapidly upgraded and improved, premium users will be able to take advantage of the new Trekking Feature, which enables them to easily log hikes, trails, and other adventures or even export them easily with the added bonus of embedding imagery and other relevant data. Once upgraded to premium, users will also be able to take advantage of new premium feature additions and upgrades at no extra cost. Planned features in upcoming releases include fully offline accessible maps, a compass, and much more!
