About Check My Barangay Android App
Check my Barangay (CMB) is a participatory governance initiative focusing at the barangay (village) level which aims to allow community members of the barangay to determine important and relevant services which directly address the needs of their community allow them to play a more active role.
It seeks to empower the community by providing mechanisms and avenues for participation with respect to the systemic dissemination of the project and program-relevant information in the barangay processes.
Furthermore, the project has a citizen monitoring component which will allow citizens to have a “voice” in the validation processes as barangay projects and components are implemented.
