Chen Ichun Headdress is created by Kawasaki-based milliner Ichun Chen.
Having trained at London College of Fashion in millinery, she continues
pursuing traditional millinery art with master milliners Chloe Scrivener and
Kyoto-based Mr. Tokutaro Hirano.
She was finalist of 'Everyday Hat' competition 2015 held by St. James Lock
& Co. Hatters, in London, U.K. Her hat was also selected for the 11th International Hat Competition
at Atelier-Musse Du Chapeau, France, for opening day choreographed fashion
show and 5-month long temporary exhibition. Her deconstructed organic formed hat collaboration with Mr. Yasufumi Jin, the bonsai artist of Shunkaen Bonsai Museum, was selected for the 2016 official London Hat Week 'Milliner X Artisan' exhibition and its press release day.
Chen Ichun Headdress is the world of imaginations inspired by the deep harmony
between human and nature. Every piece of hat is carefully hand-sculpted and
hand-sewn custom design. Working from her studio in Kawasaki, Japan, Ichun
