《世說新語》是中國南朝宋時期（420-581年）產生的一部主要記述魏晉人物言談軼事的筆記小說。是由南朝劉宋宗室臨川王劉義慶（403-444年）組織一批文人編寫的，梁代劉峻作注。全書原八卷，劉峻注本分為十卷，今傳本皆作三卷，分為德行、言語、政事、文學、方正、雅量等三十六門，全書共一千多則，記述自漢末到劉宋時名士貴族的遺聞軼事，主要為有關人物評論、清談玄言和機智應對的故事。"Shi" is the Chinese Southern Song Dynasty - a major figure describing the Wei, Jin conversation anecdotes Sketchbooks (420 581) generated.
