Patterns are pieces of paper that are prototype parts of clothing or sewing-sewing products. Patterns serve as examples to avoid errors while clipping the cloth. In addition to wearing homemade patterns, one can sew at home using a ready-made pattern published by women's magazines.

When making clothing, the pattern is tailored to the size of body shape and clothing model.
