Color blindness accessibility toolkit
The toolkit provides three functionalities for color deficient people:
1) Accessibility filter - Allows the user with one of the two main types of daltonism (deuteranopia and protanopia) to extract information form images in which it would otherwise not be possible due to the difficulty from these users to distinguish red/green contrast.
2) Color highlight tool - Allows the user to choose a color which will be highlighted in the whole picture. The other colors will be converted to gray scale. Specially useful for images with color captions.
3) Simulation tool - Allows the user to simulate how the image would be seen by someone who has deuteranopia or protanopia.
All the tools can be applied to either images chosen from the gallery or taken from the camera. Additionally, the accessibility and simulation tools can be applied continuously to the camera's image (continuous mode, which needs the OpenCV library).
