About Compass - Travel Essential Android App
Compass - Travel Essential is free app for every traveler. The application uses built-in sensors (accelerometer and magnetic field) to measure the azimuth.
- Since version 1.1, you can also check your longitude, latitude and speed. They are based on GPS.
- Since version 1.3, application returns also altitude. Sea level is based on longitude and latitude from GPS and data downloaded from the Internet.
- Since version 2.0 you can check weather forecast for your current location (if GPS is enabled) or find weather information for any city. You only need Internet connection. 5 day forecast is available at any location or city and includes weather data evrey 3 hours.
Application capabilities are dependent on the performance of your device. Make sure that you are not in external magnetic field! This may cause bad measurement of azimuth.
