Fundada em 1963, a CONTAG é a maior entidade sindical de trabalhadores e trabalhadoras rurais da atualidade. São 27 federações que reúnem cerca de 4 mil sindicatos rurais e 20 milhões de trabalhadores e trabalhadoras do campo.

São 50 anos de luta por reforma agrária, combate à violência contra as mulheres do campo e da floresta, melhores condições de vida e trabalho no meio rural, sustentabilidades, agroecologia e muitas outras bandeiras de transformação do Brasil.Founded in 1963, CONTAG is the largest labor union workers and current rural workers. There are 27 associations representing about 4000 rural unions and 20 million workers and workers of the field.
