About Crankshaft - Augmented Reality Android App

This demo is an example about using augmented reality to create an interactive visualization applications,
to be used in industrial and/or educational purposes.
In this application you can use the included markers "brochures" to show and more around crankshaft engine. In the first part "marker face" you can see the crankshaft engine structure and animation. The animation buttons fully or partially animate the engine .
On the second part "marker back" you can see the assembly and components of one crank units.

This application was build to demonstrate how augmented reality can enrich visualization and educational application with the support of 3D graphics and special effects.

Does It Works?

1- Run the application on your mobile device.
2- place the marker "front or back".
3- Look at the marker using your mobile device.
4- When the marker is detected the animation buttons appear.
5- Click on any animation button to start the animation, then stop button to end.
6- Remember to set a good lighting conditions.
