For most people, Pancake Day is pretty much the same every year: whisking, frying, tossing and then dousing in lemon and sugar.
But for those who want to get a bit more creative - and we're not just talking Nutella and banana - there's always pancake art.
Have some fun by adding a dash of food colouring to your batter and create faces, hair or even clothes.
If you give them a go, be sure to send us your videos using the form at the bottom of this
1. Use a squeezy bottle
This helps you to have complete control of your pancake art and to create the features of the shape.
2. Concentrate on outlines first
Draw prominent shapes and outlines first so that they can brown, meaning the detail will stand out more.
3. Watch out for gaps!
Try not to leave any holes in your lines to stop the batter seeping out.
4. Try different colours
Need a darker shade of batter to add features to your shape? Add a dash of cocoa powder into the mix or even apple sauce to make it slightly thicker.
5. Double up
Once the whole pancake has cooked, use two fish slices to flip the pancake, giving you more control and helping you not to lose the shape.
6. Try again
Your first is always the worst - practice makes perfect after all so, don’t give up!
