About cric4caster Android App

cric4caster is basically developed for a One Day International (ODI) Cricket Match. It predicts the first innings score and the chance of winning the game of a LIVE ODI match.

As in an ODI match there are two innings, so for the batting team in first innings, the app will tell the user the projected score by analyzing the following attributes:
• Batting Team
• Venue
• Current Score
• Wickets Fallen
• Past First Innings Score History Of the Venue as well as the Batting team

For the second innings,it will predict the winning percentage of the chasing team ( i.e. the chance of their winning at a given situation) on the basis of:
• Batting Team
• Venue
• Target
• Current Score
• Wickets Fallen
• Past Chasing History Of the Venue as well as the Chasing team


We have used Data Mining technique on the data-set of all the non curtailed ODI Matches played between 2002 and 2014 among the top 8 teams of the world.
It has been found in the results that cric4caster predicts better than the Current Run Rate method in estimating the projected score and also the accuracy of predicting the match outcome has been 68% initially from 0-5 overs to 91% till the end of 45th over.
More teams and Venues will be added in the updated versions.
